Blame it on the Moon
Yeah, that's right! I sucked yesterday. It was all because of the full moon. That's my story and I am sticking to it!
I have posted before how things get weird around the full moon. Most of that I can handle, but the fishing part gets me down. Of the five captains I talked to, we all agreed this full moon was the suckiest we have seen in a long while. I even postponed my next trip a few days so I may be able to look like what I know what I am doing next time.

moon shmoon! i caught fish with you on december 21st..full moon and a solar eclipse on the same night.first full moon on winter solstice in 400 years.
ReplyDeleteLOL Yeah we did! Every moon is different though. This one had flats way out of the water at mid tide. The fish were extremely finicky. For what ever it is worth, I did a lot better than most, I still though it sucked though.
